I love this shot, for all the reasons you mentioned (warm, fuzzy, nearly-lomo-but-etc). Amazing colours, great atmosphere.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll check my code. The site has only been live for about a month, so I’ll be tweaking it here and there as I need to. As for the macro lens, I got lucky – bought mine off eBay, 2nd hand for €65. It had been in the previous owner’s safe for 20 years. It has a small dent on the side, is completely manual due to its age (focus, metering and aperture control), and is probably my favourite lens. I’d definitely recommend saving for a macro – opens up a lot of possibilities, and is loads of fun.

Ooh la la. I have no idea what they are, but they’re beautiful. I’ll have to buy a macro lens some day, when I’m rich. Or at least less poor.
